Jordan's love for the world of eyecare started around 18 years old when she was approached by a young optometrist wanting to open their own eyecare practice. After spending roughly 3 years at that location, she left and found a new optometry practice that was located in Bridgeport. This is where she really learned everything about the optical field. Around 7 years later, she decided it was time to take everything she had learned and open her very own store. Loraine Thomas eyewear.

Open since April of 2021, Loraine Thomas eyewear has a very unique take on what they believe your optical experience should be. No more dealing with staffing issues, long wait times on your prescription eyewear, or even that uncomfortable feeling you get when you're in a doctor's office environment.
Our staff are highly skilled in the process of helping you get the absolute most out of your eyewear while still looking stylish.
We also offer an IN-HOUSE lab. This means we are able to give you SAME DAY glasses! As long as we have your prescription in stock, we can have your glasses ready in under 30 minutes.

Thomas Morrison, the owner's grandfather, was a Navy war veteran who fought in the Vietnam war and taught her that discipline and focus are key qualities that few are ever able to acquire.
